LIQUID Pool Lounge at the Aria Mixer — Las Vegas
Zones hosted a corporate sunset mixer at LIQUID Pool Lounge at the Aria in Las Vegas, with sponsorship from Apple and Microsoft. With 300+ attendees, the evening called for a DJ who could match the energy of the setting, keeping it upscale, and social.
I was brought in directly by Zones for the Accelerate 2025 Partner & Sales Summit and approached the set with a focus on what I'd call corporate Vegas chic. I curated an open format mix across genres that felt familiar, yet new and worked to tie the room together and encourage a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Custom records were made for the event, and I brought uplighting set to Zones' brand colors to tie the booth into the overall experience.
The LIQUID Pool Lounge at the Aria's deck is built to be experiences. Hidden speakers run throughout the space with large booth monitors, which means the DJ is working within an existing sound system rather than building one from scratch.
I arrived two hours early to navigate the complex, underground labyrinth of a load-in and to understand how the sound system behaved before guests arrived. That preparation made everything else calm, and focused on the music.
The setting itself did a lot of the work. A performer in a bubble in the pool, sunset over the strip, 300 people from some of the biggest companies in tech. My job was to match that energy and hold it for the duration of the evening.
The mixer maintained consistent energy from the first guests arriving through last song.
The custom records and branded lighting created moments that felt personal to Zones while still keeping the night feeling like a genuine Vegas experience.
Corporate mixers at this level succeed when the DJ understands the room. Knowing when to push, when to let the setting breathe, and how to keep a diverse crowd engaged without forcing it is what supports these events and encourages networking.
