Veterinary Convention — Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas
During a two-day veterinary convention at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, I supported a branded expo presence for Elanco, creating an energetic, approachable environment on the convention floor. Convention activations are one of the more specialized formats for a corporate DJ in Las Vegas. The energy has to pull people in rather than hold them in place.
The role blended DJ support with live MC responsibilities to keep guests engaged, hosting trivia moments, and maintaining a lively atmosphere within a structured corporate setting.
The focus was supporting brand tone while drawing attendees into the booth experience throughout both days of the event.

The Environment
Expo floor activations require a different approach than traditional DJ sets.
The goal was to stay inviting and energetic without overpowering nearby exhibitors, maintaining a presence that supported the brand experience rather than competing with it.
Music, microphone use, and pacing all worked in service of the booth — helping draw attention, support interaction, and keep the environment feeling active and professional.
The booth maintained steady traffic across both days, with guests stopping to engage, participate in trivia, and spend time within the space.
Energy stayed consistent, announcements felt natural, and the brand presence remained lively without feeling disruptive on the expo floor.
Corporate activations rely on balance — visibility without noise, engagement without distraction — and that shaped every decision throughout the event.
