The groom was a cinematographer. He had a clear vision for how he wanted the day to look, which angles mattered for photos and video, and where equipment should and shouldn't be visible. I was happy to work within that vision and the wonderful
Lex Photo + Film rather than default to the easiest setup position.
For the ceremony, I used a single speaker tucked against the guest house, completely out of sightlines, with a wireless mic, wind cover, and mic stand for the officiant. It remained clean, invisible, and clear through cocktail hour.
For dinner, speeches, and dancing I brought out the full setup with large speakers and a subwoofer positioned for warm, even coverage across the outdoor space.
